Assistant Manager, Settlement
The Assistant Settlement Manager role will be reporting to Settlement Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
Treasury Related Transactions
- Verify and settle treasury transactions, ensure all details on the confirmation notice letter match with the supporting documents, ensure no non-compliance of trading limits and counterparty global exposures as per Company’s policies and procedures
- Prepare loans and fixed deposit drawdown / rollover / repayment / prepayment notices, get authorized signatories signed timely before sending to banks
- Liaise with banks for loans’ rate fixing advice and payment advice, ensure details on the advice forms are matched the same as Reval system data
Group Bank Account Administrative
- Liaise with bank for account opening and closure documentation
- Assist in online banking platform user’s access rights setup, update and review
- Prepare notice letters to the banks for the update of authorized signatories for bank & loan accounts
Compliance, Control and Reporting
- Collate and/or prepare Know Your Customer (“KYC”) information requested by banks relating to financing and bank accounts maintenance
- Prepare financial reports in excel for internal and external stakeholders within tight timeline
- Monitor time-sensitive payments, ensure all the payments are settled on value date
Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Corporation Treasury Operation or Finance AP/AR functions or at least 10 years of relevant working experience for Diploma holder
- Meticulous, focus on details and proficient with number
- Proficiency in Microsoft office particularly MS Excel and MS Word
- High integrity, good analytical skills and good team player
- Diligent and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
- Hands-on experience in various Treasury Management Systems or experience on the settlement of Notes and Shares, will be an advantage
