Corporate Counsel, General Counsel

Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Corporate Legal Support

Providing corporate legal support to the Company and its subsidiaries, including insurance, data protection, technology, (non-aircraft) procurement and employment matters
Acting as primary legal counsel to the Company’s Treasury Department, with expectation to provide both advisory and documentation support in relation to:

Compliance Legal Support

Assisting the Corporate Compliance Officer, to monitor and review developing compliance and regulatory trends relevant to the Company

Corporate Affairs Legal Support

Providing legal advisory support to the Company’s Head of Corporate Affairs in relation to the Company’s corporate governance obligations and requirements, including relevant exchange listing rules

Projects & Others

Job Requirements:

Degree in Law with at least 10 years post-qualification experience
At least 10+ years of experience in banking, financial services or corporate law in a law firm, financial institution or corporation. Candidates with aircraft leasing, financing or sales experience and with a desire to practice in the specified areas of law will be considered.
Excellent verbal and written communication ability
Strong analytical and evaluation skills
Meticulous, attention to details while working in a fast-paced environment
Driven, proactive, diligent and strong work ethic
Proficiency in Business Mandarin is desirable but not essential
