Manager, Legal & Transaction Management (Lease Management)


The Lease Management team within BOC Aviation's Legal & Transaction Management department is responsible for the administration, oversight and governance of lease obligations, lease-related data and operational processes across the portfolio.

As the Company continues to enhance its use of automation, data analytics and digital reporting, this role will help drive the evolution of the Lease Management function from a largely transactional and process-driven environment towards one focused on data insights, exception management, continuous improvement and value-added reporting. The successful candidate will manage an assigned portfolio while supporting automation initiatives, process enhancements and business decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lease Administration & Portfolio Management – Manage an assigned aircraft portfolio, ensuring compliance with lease obligations, accurate records, data integrity and timely management reporting.
  • Contract Review & Documentation – Review lease, sale and purchase, amendment and transaction documents, including lease summaries, maintenance reserve provisions, lease security requirements and other key operational terms.
  • Lease Security Management – Administer and monitor standby letters of credit and other lease security arrangements, including renewals, amendments, compliance, audit confirmations and related controls.
  • Maintenance Reserves & Utilisation Monitoring – Calculate, reconcile and monitor maintenance reserve obligations, review utilisation reporting and resolve related issues with lessees and internal stakeholders.
  • Systems, Data & Process Improvement – Drive improvements in data quality, controls, workflows and reporting through automation, digital solutions and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Reporting & Business Insights – Analyse portfolio and operational data, identify trends and risks, and provide insights to support management decision-making.
  • Controls, Governance & Audit – Maintain strong controls, documentation standards and audit readiness. Support internal and external audits and management reviews.
  • Team & Business Support – Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, special projects and ad hoc business requirements, while fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Aviation Management, Law, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in aircraft leasing, aviation finance, lease management, contract administration, asset management or a similar environment.
  • Good understanding of aircraft leasing, lease administration, maintenance reserves, portfolio reporting, letters of credit and lease compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and experience working with data, reconciliations, reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with LeasePoint or similar contract, asset or portfolio management systems, as well as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, SharePoint Lists or similar reporting and automation tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
