Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE) has finalised the lease of one A319 aircraft to Portuguese airline Air Luxor. The aircraft, serial number 1494, was manufactured in 2001 and is powered by CFM56 engines.

Air Luxor operates scheduled flights from Lisbon and Oporto to Funchal and Paris, as well as charter services to destinations in Southern Europe, North Africa, Central America, Brazil and Thailand.

“We are pleased to be able to meet Air Luxor’s additional requirement with the A319,” commented Robert Martin, Managing Director of SALE. “This transaction completes the successful transition of four aircraft repossessed at the end of last year following the demise of Sabena.”

SALE now has three A320 family aircraft in service with Air Luxor, also including two A320- 200s delivered earlier this year.
