SALE Leases New A320 to Aero Lloyd

Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE) has leased a new A320 to German charter carrier AERO LLOYD. The aircraft, MSN 1996, was delivered from the Airbus assembly line in Toulouse today and will be on lease to the carrier for a period of five years.

This latest agreement is the third transaction between SALE and AERO LLOYD, which already operates one A320 and one A321 owned by SALE, acquired under purchase and leaseback agreements. The new aircraft is one of SALE’s own firm orders with Airbus, totalling 51 A320 family aircraft.

Robert Martin, Managing Director of SALE, said that the latest deal between SALE and AERO LLOYD reflected the strong relationship between the two companies.

“Despite the problems facing many airlines, AERO LLOYD continues to operate successfully within the European charter market,” he said. “We at SALE are pleased to be associated with such an operation, and look forward to developing further the mutually beneficial partnership between our two companies.”
