SALE Appoints David Farrell as Head of Risk Management

Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE) has appointed David Farrell as Head of Risk Management. Mr Farrell joined SALE from GECAS Singapore, where he was most recently Vice President & Regional Manager of Structured Finance for Asia and previously Vice President Risk Management Asia-Pacific Region.

Mr Farrell has a career spanning 15 years in aircraft leasing and air finance based in the US, Europe and Asia, most of which has been spent with GECAS and GPA. In addition, he has also worked with specialist transportation bank DVB.

In his new role at SALE Mr Farrell will be responsible for all risk matters, including credit evaluation activity related to customers and vendors. He will also be responsible for general portfolio risk issues, audit, IT and compliance matters related to SALE's corporate governance policies.

Originally from Ireland, David holds a First Class Honours degree in Social Sciences from University College Dublin, as well as an MBA from Georgetown University, Washington DC.
