BOC Aviation Selects Rolls-Royce Trent Engines

BOC Aviation has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines for its five A330 freighters ordered direct from Airbus early this year. The freighters, scheduled for delivery between 2012 and 2013, have already been placed on long term leases.
Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation said: “The popularity of the Trent 700 with operators around the world ensures BOC Aviation can not only meet the demands of its customers but that they, in turn, benefit from utilising the market- leading engine on this airframe.”
Nick Devall, Executive Vice President – Airlines, Rolls-Royce said: “This order demonstrates BOC Aviation’s continuing confidence in our products and the continuing strength of the Trent 700 in the wider marketplace.”
