BOC Aviation Delivers First of Five Boeing 737-800 Aircraft to Shenzhen Airlines

BOC Aviation has delivered the first of five new Boeing 737-800s to Shenzhen Airlines. The remaining four aircraft will be delivered from March to October this year. The delivery marks the first cooperation between BOC Aviation and Shenzhen Airlines.
Robert Martin, BOC Aviation Chief Executive Officer, said that the company was pleased to have Shenzhen Airlines as a customer.
“Shenzhen Airlines is growing rapidly in China with a sizable fleet expansion plan announced in recent years. BOC Aviation will provide strong support to its fleet growth.” Robert Martin said.
BOC Aviation is the leading Asia-based aircraft leasing company with a portfolio of 77 modern aircraft flying with airlines worldwide. In addition, the company has 63 aircraft on firm order for delivery through to 2013 of which 38 are 737s from Boeing on firm order for delivery through to 2011. Reflecting the current unprecedented demand for new aircraft from airlines worldwide, 35 of these have already been committed to airlines in advance of delivery.
