BOC Aviation Leases Two A319 Aircraft to CSA Czech Airlines

16 Jun 2008

BOC Aviation has signed agreements to lease two new A319-100 aircraft to CSA Czech Airlines. The aircraft, each powered with two CFM56 engines, are scheduled for delivery in 2009 and 2010 respectively. Both aircraft are on long term leases.

Lubos Cerny, CSA Vice-President for Economics, said CSA Czech Airlines first worked with BOC Aviation in 2005 when it leased two A320 aircraft.  “We are pleased to have BOC Aviation supporting our fleet expansion program this time.  These new aircraft will serve our priority routes especially within central and eastern Europe.”

“We are delighted to have our aircraft flying once again with one of the oldest airlines in Europe,” said Steven Townend, BOC Aviation’s Chief Commercial Officer.  “CSA is the flag carrier of Czech Republic and we look forward to working with them.”

BOC Aviation is the leading Asia-based aircraft leasing company with a portfolio of 83 modern aircraft flying with airlines worldwide. In addition, the company has 73 aircraft on order for delivery through to 2013.

BOC Aviation is 100% owned by Bank of China.
