BOC Aviation Selects Rockwell Collins Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Systems

BOC Aviation has selected Rockwell Collins to provide a comprehensive package of communication, navigation and surveillance avionics for up to 47 new Airbus A320 family aircraft.  Deliveries of these aircraft will commence in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Under the terms of the agreement, Rockwell Collins’ baseline avionics package for the Airbus A320 family aircraft includes: WXR-2100 MultiScan Hazard Detection System, VHF Data Radio, High Frequency radio system, VHF Omni-directional Range receiver, Distance Measuring Equipment, Automatic Direction Finder, Traffic Collision and Avoidance System (TCAS II), Air Traffic Control Transponders, and Multi-Mode Receiver including GPS.
