BOC Aviation Selects Thales Flight Management Systems

BOC Aviation has selected Thales to provide a comprehensive package of flight management systems for up to 47 new Airbus A320 family aircraft.  Deliveries of these aircraft will commence in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Under the terms of the agreement Thales baseline flight management systems package for the Airbus A320 family aircraft includes: Flight Management System, Radio Altimeter, Angle of Attack Sensor, Pitot Probe, Combined Radio Magnetic Indicator and ATC Control Panel.

Robert Martin, Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation said that the company was pleased to extend its commercial relationship with Thales.  “Thales flight management systems meet the rigorous standards worldwide and we are delighted to promote them to our lessees,” he said.
