BOC Aviation Places Order with CFM International To Power A320 Aircraft Family

BOC Aviation is pleased to announce the signing of a new contract with CFM International (“CFM”) for 10 firm orders of CFM 56 engines and 10 firm orders of CFM LEAP engines to power A320 family aircraft on order with Airbus.
This is the second direct contract between BOC Aviation and CFM for an engine order for the A320 aircraft type.
Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation, said, “This is our first order for engines for A320neo aircraft. This new order reinforces our customers’ satisfaction with CFM 56-powered A320 aircraft as a reliable airframe and engine combination and marks our confidence in the CFM LEAP engine.”
CFM International is a 50/50 joint company between Snecma (Safran) and General Electric, and produces engines for both the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 series.
